Pre-Poured LME (Light Malt Extract) Agar Plates These sterile agar plates are poured with light malt extract (LME) agar, a preferred formula among mycologists for isolating, expanding, and observing fungal mycelium. LME promotes vigorous growth and clear sectoring, making it a strong choice for both spore germination and culture refinement work. Plates are available in 10-pack and 20-pack options and are heat-shrink sealed to preserve freshness and ensure safe transport. Each set of plates is poured inside a sterile laboratory environment under a commercial laminar flow system to ensure consistency and reduce contamination events compared to DIY pours. Storage Before Use Use soon after receiving for optimal results. Store sealed plates upright, at room temperature, away from direct light, and inside the original outer packaging. A clean bin or secondary container is recommended for long-term shelf storage. (Refrigerated upside-down storage is possible but may introduce condensation on lids, which can increase contamination risks.) Storage After Inoculation Once colonized or inoculated, store plates upright in the refrigerator to slow metabolic activity and preserve culture integrity.

So I ordered a max yield bin and when I received it,there had been some damage to the lid during shipping. I contacted customer service and sent a few pictures and within a week I had a new bin on the way. It arrived perfectly fine. Got two sets of bins with the full setup of extras. One of the lids cracked in long shipment to the US, which they promptly replaced. The bins are good, sturdy quality and look great, so they must have withstood a beating during shipment to crack a lid. The next one arrived without issues in perfect condition.
